As e-commerce continues to thrive, they are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the e-commerce sector.

 

Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding their presence in the e-commerce market by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for selling their corrugated packaging solutions to e-commerce businesses, creating long-lasting relationships, and driving revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential e-commerce clients, market trends, and competitors.
  2. Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including cold calls, networking, industry events, and digital marketing.
  3. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with e-commerce businesses by understanding their packaging needs and offering tailored solutions.
  4. Solution Selling: Collaborate with our packaging design and production teams to create custom packaging solutions that meet clients' requirements and budget.
  5. Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements for both the client and the company.
  6. Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, with experience in selling packaging solutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Packaging materials industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
